Design
ASUS has built the ZenBook Flip UX463FA-AI026T with a metal case with a matte black surface. The back of this 14-inch ZenBook is a bit glossy, but you would only notice it when the lid is closed. Overall, this is a decent build quality on a 2-in-1 laptop at this price.
We find the device sturdy and durable, without excessive materials. The lid does not twist, while the base unit twists and turns slightly. We apply some pressure on the back of its lid and could not find any screen distortion. We find it hard to open the lid with a single hand, as it requires additional support of hand and arm acrobatics.

Display
This 14-inch ZenBook Flip features a 14-inch wide IPS panel, while its touchscreen delivers 1080p resolution. We found its screen brightness level to be 286 cd/m², which is above average for a 14-inch convertible. You would find it sufficiently bright while working on yours in a room. However, the display is highly reflective which could be a problem if you are an outdoor user.
The webcam on the ZenBook Flip 14-inch is like most of its competitors. There is a 0.9MP webcam present on the top of the display. This is not something special, as we found its performance to be on the lower side.
Keyboard
This convertible laptop features a backlit chiclet keyboard along with a Numpad. You can control the backlight brightness (three levels) with a function key. The key size and travel are appropriate and offer a distinct actuation point. The Centre of the keyboard slightly yields while typing, but this isn’t an issue to worry about.
Overall, this is a great keyboard for typing and goes beyond the needs of daily use. However, you have to apply the right amount of force to press the keys while typing. Instead of a traditional touchpad, ASUS has gone with a Numpad, which works fine. It is highly responsive with good gliding properties and reacts well to inputs.

Moreover, there is an 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD drive to make sure a smooth computing performance.
This is a well-suited convertible device for daily use and to perform casual tasks. you can run office programs, browse the internet and do simple editing, but that’s it. Don’t expect it to run graphically demanding applications, as its GPU isn’t powerful enough. Besides it, this is a good laptop that can assist you with everyday work.

ASUS claims that the ZenBook Flip UX463FA can deliver up to 8 hours of battery life. However, we squeezed less than the manufacturer’s claims and got more than 6.5 hours of battery life.
Verdict
