Soluble, non-fermentable fiber will help you to deal with the constipation problem. Even doctors suggest that you should increase fiber intake in your diet, which will help increase the bulk for consistent bowel movements. Now, there are two types of fibers- a soluble fiber that includes oat bran, beans, vegetables, whole grain some fruits and vegetables, and non-soluble fiber that is vegetables, whole grains, wheat bran. They both have different effects on digestion. 

To ease your bowel movements, a person should consume both types of fiber. You can also add non-fermentable fiber such as psyllium.

Exercise:

If you notice symptoms of constipation, then you should opt for exercising before it is too late. Yes, exercise can help you in more than one way. It will help ease your abdomen to make it easy for you to pass stool. You don’t have to do vigorous exercise but a light one focusing on the abdomen. Massaging the abdomen in specific ways can also help to ease bowel movement. 

Try coffee:

Coffee is an important drink of the day for some people, and it can also help you ease your constipation situation. Drinking caffeinated coffee can increase the urge to go to the bathroom as it stimulates the muscles in the digestive system that will help in bowel movement so you can pass the stool easily. 

Avoid dairy:

People who are lactose intolerant should avoid consuming dairy because that can be a contributing factor to why you are facing problems in passing stool. If you notice that dairy intolerance is a symptom of constipation, you should immediately visit your doctor. They will help you make changes in your diet and add calcium-rich food. Lactose intolerance is a problem for some and can cause constipation. 

Visit a doctor:

Even after home remedies, you are still facing issues in passing stool, then this needs medical attention, and you need to visit a doctor or a hydrotherapy clinic to help you with this problem. You don’t have to worry about visiting a clinic as they have the proper equipment and know-how to make the stool pass from your body. There will be no pain included, and everything they will do will help in easing the bowel movement without you having to become uncomfortable.
