Joseph Pompo, former accountant for Fuccillo dealership, has had all charges cleared by a grand jury regarding the alleged theft of over $1 million.
Joseph Pompo has accepted a misdemeanor conviction on charges related to his departure from the company, but continues to assert his innocence with regard to any allegations of theft.
Pompo maintained that the side business he set up with the late Fuccillo Sr.’s approval benefited both parties, despite facing accusations of theft.
Joseph Pompo, who forfeited nearly $33,000 after accepting a petit larceny conviction, has since taken his case to civil court in an attempt to regain control of his reinsurance business.
