Breaking news: Joseph Pompo cleared of $1 million theft case at Fuccillo dealership
Fuccillo dealership accountant Joseph Pompo has been cleared of theft charges amounting to $1 million, according to a Syracuse.com report.
Pompo has been cleared of all charges except one misdemeanor charge, to which he has pleaded guilty, and forfeited $32,913.75.
Pompo maintains that the reinsurance business he set up with the late Fuccillo Sr.’s permission provided financial benefits for both parties, despite accusations of theft.
Following his misdemeanor conviction and the forfeiture of $32,913.75, Pompo has gone to civil court in an effort to regain control of the reinsurance company he set up.
