There are many benefits to installing underfloor insulation in your home. Not only can it save you money on your energy bills, but it can also help to keep your home more comfortable. For underfloor foil insulation – if it’s fixed with staples, refrain from directly touching the foil unless it’s performed by a registered electrician (if an electrical cable was accidentally stapled during installation, there’s a danger the foil could electrocute you).

Step 1 – Preparation

Step 3 – Laying down the floor insulation boards

Step 4 – Taping up

Step 5 – Lay the membrane
If you want to put a liquid screed down, you must lay down some polythene membrane to set up a gap to segregate the liquid poured in.

Step 6 – Install the expansion foam
